Teachers’ Day  In India, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5th to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished scholar and the country’s second President, who requested his birthday be observed as a day to celebrate teachers and acknowledge their contributions to society. 

The day serves as an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and inspiration of teachers who shape minds, instil values, and guide students towards a brighter future.

Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers. It may include celebrations to honour them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community tone in education. This is one of the most celebrated day in the primary reason why countries celebrate this day on different dates, unlike many other International Days
